However, if one notices anything unusual, they must not ignore it.

Nipple Discharge
Nipple discharge common occurs only during pregnancy and just after the delivery of a baby. Otherwise, any kind of discharge, be it blood-stained fluid or a whitish one, is a sign of breast cancer and should be treated as a medical emergency.

Change in the Skin Around the Breast
Changes in the texture of the skin around the breast is one of the important signs of breast cancer to not ignore. The skin, which is normally soft and supple, tends to get thick and hard when a woman is affected by breast cancer. Often overlooked as a sign of aging or change in weather, it should be immediately reported to the doctor and tested without delay.
